Food Pantries

There are a number of local food pantries available to residents. Many of these food pantries have different requirements of residency, frequency, and sign-up methods. Some are housed in houses of worship but none require you to be a specific faith or member to partake. Below is a non-exhaustive list of places to access food with all important information clarified for your convenience.

Sharon Community Food Pantry

The Sharon Community Food Pantry encourages community members to bring a list with them for what they hope to get from the food pantry and will give this list, and a reusable bag, to a volunteer, who will fill your bag with as many items as possible. Fresh fruit and vegetables are often available along with baked goods. The food pantry is open to all and there is an accessible side entrance with ample parking near the door.

Community Market @ the YMCA

The Stoughton YMCA’s Community Market is a market-style pantry that offers fresh produce, meat, fish, non-perishables, and frozen food. Shoppers receive “points” based on the number of individuals in a given household. Due to funding limitations, the market is not open the first week of the month.

Fair Food Wednesday provides pre-packed bags of produce, bread products, pastries, and other items on Wednesday afternoons between 2pm-4pm

Family Table Kosher Food Pantry

Family Table fulfills its mission by providing kosher food, creating a caring Jewish connection, and empowering people to make healthy eating a part of their daily lives. Family table offers nutritious groceries, including fresh produce and whole grain products, Jewish holiday and ritual items, including challah and Shabbat candles, personal hygiene items such as soap, toothpaste, and shampoo, and connections to programs that help families move from crisis to stability.

Individuals do not have to be Jewish to access these services.

Immediate assistance, especially due to loss of SNAP benefits, can be accessed via this form.

Canton Helpline Food Pantry

Each adult in a household must provide 2 of the following documents for each adult in your household: utility/phone bill; lease agreement; property tax bill; mortgage statement; current piece of mail with your Canton address. All children under the age of 18 require school records or immunization records with your current Canton address.

The Canton Helpline’s Food Pantry provides free food, personal care items, and household products to eligible Canton residents on a temporary basis. Shoppers are encouraged to arrive no later than 5 minutes prior to closing.

Easton Food Pantry

The Easton Food Pantry is open to all Easton residents. The food pantry is in the rear of The Fellowship Church and requests recipients to form a line in their cars circling around counterclockwise from the front of the church to the rear like in this diagram. Make sure your trunk is clear as volunteers will place food into your trunk. Call the food pantry at (781) 333-6284 at any time - messages are checked daily and returned as soon as possible.

The Walpole Community Food Pantry operates with two models. The first is pre-packaged pickups which allow for individuals to quickly grab a bag full of food items without customization. The second is an online ordering system which allows registered community members to select exactly what they want from their food pantry. If you book a pick up time with the system, you must show up to get your items or call if you are unable to do so.

The Ilse Marks Food Pantry is a food pantry offering community members shelf stable groceries. Bags or carts are required to bring. There is ample parking in the church parking lot.

Foxboro Food Pantry

The Foxboro Food Pantry provides groceries to eligible Foxborough residents experiencing economic hardship. There is plenty of parking in the adjacent parking lot at the church.

The Mansfield Food Bank provides supplemental food at no cost to those in Mansfield experiencing food insecurity. Proof of Mansfield residency is required for registration and access; a bill or first class piece of mail dated within the past 60 days with your name and address - a driver’s license or ID is not adequate proof of residency.

Norfolk Food Pantry

The Norfolk Food Pantry is available to any Norfolk resident needing food assistance. If arriving by car, you can drive right up to the second small white building behind the church office.

The Norwood Food Pantry serve residents of Norwood and Westwood. If you need emergency food assistance, regardless of where you live,  they are available to call at 781-291-3663 and they will help you, regardless of where you live. Franklin Food Pantry

The Franklin Food Pantry predominantly serves the people of Franklin but also serves Bellingham, Medway, Norfolk, and Wrentham and offers a wide range of services including in-house shopping, curbside pick up, home delivery for those who are homebound, a weekend backpack program, and holiday meals. Emergency Food Box which is available to anyone, regardless of where they live.
